SINGER/SONGWRITER AND actress Rita Ora was spotted at Sirus XM Studios in a red ensemble of a red hot Marni pant suit — and when I say hot, I mean it. She must have felt the sweltering New York day due to the weather being a humid 91 degrees. But she didn’t show it, appearing with her hair down in waves, wearing red sunglasses and some of the edgiest French and Italian jewelry by Parisian Rainbow K and Vicenza-based EÉRA.

She mixed metals and it all worked. Ora showed off a sterling silver link necklace along with earrings that were an interpretation of the snap hook in a oversized pair with rounded edges by EÉRA. But the most intriguing pieces were her rings: white and yellow gold octagonal and off-center silhouettes by EÉRA and three-dimensional, pave horn, wide eyelet style and four rings of diamonds and different textures that fit together to look like one ring by Rainbow K.

The two jewelry companies have been in the press and on celebrities over the past two years due to their unique sensibilities, with both having a rock ‘n’ roll vibe.

Retiring? Let Wilkerson Do the Heavy Lifting

Retirement can be a great part of life. As Nanji Singadia puts it, “I want to retire and enjoy my life. I’m 78 now and I just want to take a break.” That said, Nanji decided that the best way to move ahead was to contact the experts at Wilkerson. He chose them because he knew that closing a store is a heavy lift. To maximize sales and move on to the next, best chapter of his life, he called Wilkerson—but not before asking his industry friends for their opinion. He found that Wilkerson was the company most recommended and says their professionalism, experience and the homework they did before the launch all helped to make his going out of business sale a success. “Wilkerson were working on the sale a month it took place,” he says. “They did a great job.”
