(PRESS RELEASE) Royal Chain is releasing a brand-new collection con this side of the world. Italy, a country hit hardest by the Coronavirus, closed their factories in March but just last week, the government allowed factories to begin operations under strict guidelines. However, with the effects of COVID-19 being felt the hardest in places like Vicenza and Arezzo (Italy’s heart of the jewelry sector), production has come to a screeching halt due to the economic pause across the globe.

Stateside, as retailers begin re-opening, and online sales have started soaring, Royal Chain is trying to do its part to support their Italian manufacturers as well as offer something new to retailers.

The Piazza Di Spagna collection, named after the Roman landmark, is completely made in Italy, epitomizing old world craftsmanship using traditional methods. By using Sterling Silver, it also allows the collection to be more accessible to people that may be more mindful about budgets during these uncertain times. The collection brings back vintage styling, like the tubogas bracelet, combining it with updated trend elements for modern looks. The collection also includes new chain links in line with fashion trends today.

Royal Chain Creative Director, Phillip Gabriel Maroof says “The Italian jewelry manufacturers have held a very special place in the heart, past and present, of Royal Chain and to me personally. I think consumers today are going to be conscious of where their products come from. Buying Italian-made goods will help continue the tradition of jewelry innovators doing what they do best and get them back to work.”

The collection is currently available and is being shipped through its fulfillment center. The collection and digital lookbook can be viewed in its entirety on Royal Chain’s website.

This Third-Generation Jeweler Was Ready for Retirement. He Called Wilkerson

Retirement is never easy, especially when it means the end to a business that was founded in 1884. But for Laura and Sam Sipe, it was time to put their own needs first. They decided to close J.C. Sipe Jewelers, one of Indianapolis’ most trusted names in fine jewelry, and call Wilkerson. “Laura and I decided the conditions were right,” says Sam. Wilkerson handled every detail in their going-out-of-business sale, from marketing to manning the sales floor. “The main goal was to sell our existing inventory that’s all paid for and turn that into cash for our retirement,” says Sam. “It’s been very, very productive.” Would they recommend Wilkerson to other jewelers who want to enjoy their golden years? Absolutely! “Call Wilkerson,” says Laura. “They can help you achieve your goals so you’ll be able to move into retirement comfortably.”
