Saks Fifth Avenue High Jewelry Launch

(PRESS RELEASE) NEW YORK — Saks Fifth Avenue has unveiled its first-ever high jewelry collection, Saks Fifth Avenue High Jewelry, enhancing the luxury brand’s world-class jewelry offering and furthering its commitment to serving customers with the best in luxury fashion. Saks Fifth Avenue High Jewelry is a modern take on timeless jewelry, designed to spotlight the beauty of rare and precious diamonds. As part of Saks Fifth Avenue’s commitment to providing customers with highly personalized service and shopping experiences, Saks Fifth Avenue High Jewelry offers bespoke opportunities for customers to discover the collection and create their own one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces.

“Saks Fifth Avenue has long been known as a premier destination for jewelry, and the launch of our own high jewelry collection further reflects our commitment to delivering exceptional quality, as well as our dedication to inspiring customers through highly personalized experiences,” said Tracy Margolies, chief merchandising officer, Saks. “Luxury customers are continuously seeking timeless and one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces, and we look forward to delighting our customers with Saks Fifth Avenue’s modern take on high jewelry as well as our service-focused approach to this burgeoning category.”

The Saks Fifth Avenue High Jewelry collection features more than 200 pieces across jewelry categories, as well as solitaire diamonds ranging from 10 to 100 carats in highly coveted shapes, cuts and colors. Key pieces include a rare 100-carat pear-shaped diamond necklace, impressively sized solitaire diamond rings and exquisite earrings featuring large, perfectly matched diamonds.

With Saks Fifth Avenue High Jewelry, the luxury retailer is offering bespoke services allowing customers to be intimately involved in the end-to-end design process for their pieces. Private appointments are available for customers to develop one-of-a-kind pieces, select diamonds based on specific preferences and create custom mountings in partnership with a Saks Fifth Avenue High Jewelry collection expert. A custom diamond cutting service allows customers to personalize the carat weight of their selected diamonds to reflect special numbers or significant dates such as birthdays, anniversaries and milestone moments.

The collection is available now at the iconic Saks Fifth Avenue New York flagship, and will be available at Saks Fifth Avenue stores in Beverly Hills and Naples, Florida this fall. Customers can schedule an appointment to shop the collection at any Saks Fifth Avenue location and can request to view pieces online through Saks’ digital styling service on Saks.com. Additionally, Saks Fifth Avenue High Jewelry will be featured at special events and high-touch experiences across the country, providing customers with direct access to shop pieces in intimate settings.

Retiring? Let Wilkerson Do the Heavy Lifting

Retirement can be a great part of life. As Nanji Singadia puts it, “I want to retire and enjoy my life. I’m 78 now and I just want to take a break.” That said, Nanji decided that the best way to move ahead was to contact the experts at Wilkerson. He chose them because he knew that closing a store is a heavy lift. To maximize sales and move on to the next, best chapter of his life, he called Wilkerson—but not before asking his industry friends for their opinion. He found that Wilkerson was the company most recommended and says their professionalism, experience and the homework they did before the launch all helped to make his going out of business sale a success. “Wilkerson were working on the sale a month it took place,” he says. “They did a great job.”
