Saks Fifth Avenue is planning to open a new store in Greenwich, CT that will be dedicated exclusively to selling jewelry, the New York Post reports. The article says that the jewelry store is part of the retailer’s strategy to create single-focus concepts, which include a planned store dedicated to shoes and another to sportswear. Saks is also entering the Canadian market, preparing to open two new stores there that will include private rooms for trying on jewelry, according to the Financial Post.
