SELENA GOMEZ LOOKED STUNNING in her custom Ralph Lauren wedding dress when she said “I do” to Benny Blanco. After Gomez’s marquise cut diamond engagement ring set on a wide diamond yellow gold band created a buzz among press and retailers and became popular again for brides-to-be, she hit the red carpet season dripping in some of the best high jewelry from renowned brands. I wondered then what jewels she would wear at her wedding. She went for classic elegance, wearing minimal yet perfect pieces to complement her high-neck flowing gown, including a pair of Tiffany & Co. oval diamond drop earrings of approximately 12 carats. Her diamond eternity wedding band nestled in with her engagement ring, and on her right hand, she wore two more diamond eternity styles.

While the bride chose subtle jewelry, the groom, who traditionally goes for blinged-out looks, went for the ice again. His wrist was ablaze in diamonds. The pieces included a Jacob & Co. watch featuring Ashoka-cut diamonds, layered with the company’s Asscher cut tennis bracelet. Blanco also wore an emerald cut tennis bracelet on his other wrist.

His wedding band was a yellow gold band, and according to People magazine was also designed by Jacob & Co. with hidden meaning: the couple’s wedding date engraved on the inside as well as a round pavé ruby and a round pavé aquamarine, which are Gomez’s and Blanco’s birthstones.

Marc Levin’s grandfather Max founded Malloves Jewelers in Middletown, CT, in 1928. Nearly a century later, Marc — the third-generation owner — knew it was time to retire. He’d watched friends and fellow jewelers navigate store closings with Wilkerson’s help, and their recommendations were hard to ignore. Once he connected with the Wilkerson team, the decision was clear. “They made me feel like family,” he says. Wilkerson’s team handled every detail day by day, kept Marc informed every step of the way and delivered results that met and exceeded his financial goals. Watch Marc share the story of Malloves Jewelers’ final chapter — and why he slept soundly through all of it.
