(PRESS RELEASE) SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Known for their signature vintage-inspired diamond stack bands, the Sethi Couture design duo Pratima and Prerna’s approach to stack bands takes on a new twist.

For the past year, Sethi Couture has been throwing “Stack Band Parties” at fine luxury retailers across the country who carry the line. It’s not your typical BYOB party; this BYOB is a “Bring Your Own Bands” kind of a party. The retailers invite their client’s with a clear premise “Bring in your personal collection of rings and bands and the Sethi Couture designers will mix, match, and help you style your very own stack with Sethi Couture bands.” This idea of blending the old (the client’s personal bands) and the new (Sethi Couture quintessential diamond bands) has worked phenomenally. It gives the clients a task or purpose to come in and it encourages them to cherish their existing collection of rings by adding new Sethi Couture bands to create a stack.

Stacking bands are the foundation to the Sethi Couture brand and as Sethi Couture’s Creative Director Prerna Sethi describes, “Our stacking rings are timeless pieces that tell a story with an elegant nod to the past.” She continues, “We believe in loving your jewelry box. If there is something that hasn’t been worn for years or is feeling tired, we encourage clients to bring these pieces to the stack band party where we can style it with our quintessential diamond bands to create a renewed relevance. Each stack we create is carefully considered, with our foundational pieces such as the white diamond bezel band and the black diamond pave band, there is something for everyone.”

This concept of blending the old and new speaks to Sethi Couture’s design philosophy where they blend an element of heritage with modern romance in each of their designs. Sethi Couture has a few more stack band parties coming up this year at Steve Quick Jewelers in Chicago, Jewelry Art in Hudson, Ohio, Zaver & Mor in California, Two by London in Manhasset, and Von Bargen’s in Spring 2018.

This Third-Generation Jeweler Was Ready for Retirement. He Called Wilkerson

Retirement is never easy, especially when it means the end to a business that was founded in 1884. But for Laura and Sam Sipe, it was time to put their own needs first. They decided to close J.C. Sipe Jewelers, one of Indianapolis’ most trusted names in fine jewelry, and call Wilkerson. “Laura and I decided the conditions were right,” says Sam. Wilkerson handled every detail in their going-out-of-business sale, from marketing to manning the sales floor. “The main goal was to sell our existing inventory that’s all paid for and turn that into cash for our retirement,” says Sam. “It’s been very, very productive.” Would they recommend Wilkerson to other jewelers who want to enjoy their golden years? Absolutely! “Call Wilkerson,” says Laura. “They can help you achieve your goals so you’ll be able to move into retirement comfortably.”
