SRK Donated Meals During the Pandemic Lockdown

(PRESS RELEASE) In these unprecedented times of COVID-19 and nationwide lockdown, Shree Ramkrishna Exports Pvt Ltd (SRK), one of the biggest diamond crafting & exporting companies from Surat, took to the forefront in supporting the migrant families by providing them food grains, rotis (Indian breads) and grocery kits. SRK, whose diamond crafting facilities are situated in Surat, extended the helping hand to Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) and Chhayado Foundation, which is a non-profit organization providing free meals to underprivileged communities in Surat city.

SRK Group pledged and served over 300,000 rotis, distributed more than 55,000 kgs of food grains and over 120 grocery kits to marginalized and vulnerable communities across the Surat city during these challenging times.

Apart from this, the company, well-known for its contributions to society, also helped arrange meals for the 400-500 staff members of Surat Municipal Corporation on a daily basis.

“These efforts were taken to ensure that amidst this pandemic, all get their daily meals and not be worried about food … because Surat has helped craft our lives and it’s our duty to give back to the city in such times of need. We are working on the same and looking forward to more ways in extending our support to the government and SMC’s efforts,” said a company warrior who was on-field to make this happen from SRK.
