SRK, whose diamond crafting facilities are situated in Surat, extended the helping hand to Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) and Chhayado Foundation, which is a non-profit organization providing free meals to underprivileged communities in Surat city.

SRK Group pledged and served over 300,000 rotis, distributed more than 55,000 kgs of food grains and over 120 grocery kits to marginalized and vulnerable communities across the Surat city during these challenging times.

Apart from this, the company, well-known for its contributions to society, also helped arrange meals for the 400-500 staff members of Surat Municipal Corporation on a daily basis.

“These efforts were taken to ensure that amidst this pandemic, all get their daily meals and not be worried about food … because Surat has helped craft our lives and it’s our duty to give back to the city in such times of need. Wilkerson Helped This Jeweler to Navigate His Retirement Sale Despite a Pandemic

Hosting a going-out-of-business sale when the coronavirus pandemic hit wasn’t a part of Bob Smith’s game plan for his retirement. Smith, the owner of E.M. Smith Jewelers in Chillicothe, Ohio, says the governor closed the state mid-way through. But Smith chose Wilkerson, and Wilkerson handled it like a champ, says Smith. And when it was time for the state to reopen, the sale continued like nothing had ever happened. “I’d recommend Wilkerson,” he says. “They do business the way we do business.”
