Star Gems Launches Insightful Monthly Blog

(PRESS RELEASE) Star Gems announces the launch of its official blog, which will serve as a free resource to retailers. The blog’s first post was published on June 2, 2021, and will continue to be updated on a monthly basis. Check out the first few blog posts now at Stargems.com/blog.

The blog is centered on jewelry-related topics, all chosen based on the company’s 35 years of insight on consumer buying habits. “The jewelry industry has evolved a lot since we became a part of it in 1986, and we’ve evolved with it,” said Star Gems co-founder, Anish Desai. “Part of what’s made our company successful is the fact that we’ve paid attention to how our customers make their buying decisions, and many of them seek out blogs for advice.”

While the blog is targeted at consumers, it also is a great resource for retailers to gain insight into what buyers are looking for these days. “Star Gems stands apart from any other manufacturer because we don’t just offer high-quality jewelry to our suppliers – we also offer them innovation,” said Desai. “Just like our Textmechat and SEO services, our blog will be another tool to help jewelry retailers understand and continue to evolve with the industry alongside us.”

Retiring? Let Wilkerson Do the Heavy Lifting

Retirement can be a great part of life. As Nanji Singadia puts it, “I want to retire and enjoy my life. I’m 78 now and I just want to take a break.” That said, Nanji decided that the best way to move ahead was to contact the experts at Wilkerson. He chose them because he knew that closing a store is a heavy lift. To maximize sales and move on to the next, best chapter of his life, he called Wilkerson—but not before asking his industry friends for their opinion. He found that Wilkerson was the company most recommended and says their professionalism, experience and the homework they did before the launch all helped to make his going out of business sale a success. “Wilkerson were working on the sale a month it took place,” he says. “They did a great job.”
