Inspired Design

The American Jewelry Design Council (AJDC) has created a new biennial contest, the AJDC Jose Hess Design Awards, in honor of the innovative designer. Applicants must design and create an outstanding original piece of jewelry based on the theme “Connection” for a chance to win a grand prize of $15,000. Applications open March 15, with initial materials due June 1, and finished pieces due Sept. 2. ajdc.org
