Swiss Jeweler Enlisted by Samsung to Create ‘Super-Luxury’ Smart Watch

Expect lots of diamonds.

Following a successful collaboration between Swiss jeweler de Grisogono and Samsung, the two companies will again team up to create a “super-luxury” Gear S3 smart watch, the Korea Herald reports. The article says that de Grisogono helped create the diamond-studded Gear S2 watch, which was released last month with a $15,000 price tag and boasting “more than 100 black and white diamonds, a rose gold bezel and the Swiss watchmaker’s signature black galuchat strap.” Industry watchers, the article adds, tentatively expect the watch to debut at Baselworld 2017.
