TAYLOR SWIFT HAS NEVER been shy about wearing jewelry, and many of the pieces she wears are “Easter eggs” that have deeper meaning if one looks hard enough and has been following her career and romances. In prior posts, we got into the meaning of her jewels, but for the purposes of this piece, we wanted to focus on the range of mostly independent designers and looks she wore for her video The Fate of Ophelia, her film The Official Release Party of a Showgirl (which coincided with the launch of her new album, The Life of a Showgirl), and her talk show appearances.
The Fate of Ophelia
Where to begin? Let’s start with The Fate of Ophelia video, which appeared in the film and in which she wears a variety of jewels. Joseph Cassell styled the costumes and jewelry for the video. One standout is the Larkspur & Hawk Mint Olivia Button rivière, worn against a sea of marine blue costumes and background. She also wore a ring by Retrouvaí and another by Irene Neuwirth. Later in the video, she appears in earrings by Duniya Jewels, bracelets by Lizzie Mandler and Fernando Jorge, and rings by Selim Mouzannar, Alison Lou and Jade Ruzzo.

The Tonight Show
On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, she talked about being at her close friend Selena Gomez’s wedding, her new album and her megawatt diamond engagement ring, among other topics. She was draped in diamonds with earrings by Nicole Rose, EF Collection and Anita Ko. She also wore a Saidian Vintage Jewels diamond bracelet paired with another diamond bracelet. On her pointer finger were two diamond wedding bands from A. Jaffe, one with an east-to-west marquise diamond and the other with east-to-west pear-shaped diamonds.

Late Night With Seth Meyers
On Late Night With Seth Meyers, Cassell styled her in a striking David Morris Meteora choker featuring black onyx, diamonds and vivid tourmalines, along with earrings by Guita M Jeweley and rings by Le Vian and Nicole Rose.
Swift’s diverse range of looks — from ethereal to sophisticated — will surely inspire Swifties and jewelry lovers alike, as well as retailers seeking fresh ideas for their own displays and clientele.
