The AB Group Acquires Lindsay & Co.

The AB Group, manufacturers of the Legère and W.E. Richards product lines, has purchased the assets of Lindsay & Co. in New York City. Both companies are second-generation family enterprises with a specialty in men’s jewelry, particularly cuff links, shirt studs, money clips, and tie holders.

“We look forward to continuing the Lindsay & Co. tradition of manufacturing high quality men’s jewelry in the United States, while energizing the brand with new designs, marketing, and greater sales distribution,” said Jason Arenburg, president of The AB Group.

“Having worked with The AB Group for the past several years, we are confident that they are capable of producing jewelry of outstanding quality,” said David Hoenig, president of Lindsay & Co. “We know our customers are in good hands, and we are delighted to sell the company to another family-owned business.”

The AB Group plans to keep the Lindsay & Co. trade name, but has moved manufacturing operations to their facility in Attleboro, MA. Customers can continue to reach the company at sales@lindsayco.com and 800-321-9711. A revised catalog and website are scheduled to be launched in October.
