Italian Jewelry Showcase “The Edit” to Debut in New York This Month

(PRESS RELEASE) NEW YORK — Italian jewelry will take center stage later this month when The Edit – A Gallery of Italian Jewelry Masterpieces opens October 29–30 at Sixth Floor Loft in Manhattan. The curated showcase, organized by the ITA-Houston (Italian Trade Agency) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, aims to highlight the country’s craftsmanship and design innovation for North American buyers and media.

Curated by creative director Paola De Luca, The Edit will feature leading Italian houses and independent designers under the “Made in Italy” banner. According to De Luca, the event will combine exhibition displays with private viewings and educational sessions exploring the creative and technological future of Italian jewelry.

“In a highly competitive and uncertain global scenario, the Italian jewelry sector, supported by ITA, is committed to delivering design excellence, high craftsmanship, innovation, and advanced technology,” said De Luca.

“At the same time, the sector is investing in education, supporting retailers with insights, and fostering consumer culture. With Italian tariffs set at 15%, lower than in other jewelry supplying countries, Italy can represent a strong and strategic partner for U.S. retailers.”

The exhibition will be organized around four thematic “worlds”: sculptural pieces inspired by the Renaissance, organic designs evoking the Mediterranean, glamorous silhouettes recalling La Dolce Vita, and avant-garde works influenced by Futurism and contemporary art.

The Edit – A Gallery of Italian Jewelry Masterpieces will take place at SIXTH FLOOR LOFT, 873 Broadway, between 18th and 19th Street, New York, NY 10003, on October 29-30, from 10am to 5pm on the first day, with a cocktail from 6-9pm, and from 10am to 3pm on the final day.
