(PRESS RELEASE) DENVER, CO — The HardRock Summit announces the show floor has expanded in size by nearly double since the debut year and has signed a multi-year partnership with the American Gem Trade Association (AGTA). The AGTA GemFair Denver will be part of the HardRock Summit´s upcoming edition at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado from September 8 – 11, 2022 as well as the 2023 edition. New in 2022, the HardRock Summit welcomes the LLD Denver Mineral Hall, organized by LLD Productions, which will host a cross-section of dealers featuring gems, minerals, fossils, jewelry, beads, décor and metaphysical products.

The participation of both the AGTA GemFair Denver and the LLD Denver Mineral Hall will further broaden and increase the overall scope and product offerings of the Hard Rock Summit. In 2022, the HardRock Summit will occupy over 310,000 square feet of show floor space with 450+ exhibitors, which is up from 190,000 square feet with 180 exhibitors in 2021.

All under one roof, the HardRock Summit will feature these main exhibitor areas:

  • Evolution for fine minerals and fossils in the Four Seasons Ballroom;
  • Sparkle & Joy for fine gemstones and jewelry with a dedicated area for AGTA GemFair Denver in the adjacent Mile High Ballroom;
  • Denver Gem & Mineral Show in the 200 block meeting rooms;
  • LLD Denver Mineral Hall in the 100 block meeting rooms.

“We are elated to welcome back exhibitors and attendees from leading companies that participated in our debut year, as well as new companies that will be joining for the first time,” states Wolter Mehring, co-founder of HardRock Summit. “This marks the first time in the history of the gem trade shows that several renowned organizations are working together to plan and host their events under one roof. We are so delighted to work with AGTA and LLD Productions to bring even more valuable opportunities for product discovery at the HardRock Summit.”

Christoph Keilmann, co-founder of HardRock Summit explains, “The HardRock Summit is purposefully timed to support the buying and replenishing needs of retailers ahead of the holiday season. As other international fairs, particularly in Asia, continue to be challenging for travel and participation, the HardRock Summit is accessibly located in the heart of Denver for all that want to partake this fall.”

“We’re very excited to make this announcement of a long-term partnership with the HardRock Summit and AGTA GemFair Denver,” says Kimberly Collins, AGTA President. “This is the perfect time to let the industry know that after the huge success of Tucson, the year of the rebirth of shows is back in full swing! The Colorado Convention Center is a beautiful facility with many great hotels, restaurants and venues within walking distance, and with all of the pavilions in one place, this show will be electric!”

Retiring? Let Wilkerson Do the Heavy Lifting

Retirement can be a great part of life. As Nanji Singadia puts it, “I want to retire and enjoy my life. I’m 78 now and I just want to take a break.” That said, Nanji decided that the best way to move ahead was to contact the experts at Wilkerson. He chose them because he knew that closing a store is a heavy lift. To maximize sales and move on to the next, best chapter of his life, he called Wilkerson—but not before asking his industry friends for their opinion. He found that Wilkerson was the company most recommended and says their professionalism, experience and the homework they did before the launch all helped to make his going out of business sale a success. “Wilkerson were working on the sale a month it took place,” he says. “They did a great job.”
