(PRESS RELEASE) MONTCLAIR, NJ — The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) is proud to announce its exciting partnership with the prestigious INSTORE Jewelry Show, taking place on September 28th and 29th in Rosemont, IL. As part of this collaboration, GJEPC members will debut an exclusive, customized pavilion that highlights the exceptional artistry and craftsmanship of jewelry manufacturers.

Retail buyers attending the INSTORE Jewelry Show will have the unique opportunity to explore a diverse range of high-quality jewelry products, tailored to meet the needs of the upcoming holiday season. The Indian pavilion promises to be a key attraction, offering retailers an exclusive look at the innovative designs, intricate detailing, and unparalleled craftsmanship that have made Indian jewelry a global hallmark of excellence.

“This partnership represents a significant step towards enhancing the global experience for attendees of the INSTORE Jewelry Show,” said Kirit Bhansali, Chairman of GJEPC. “Our members are excited to showcase their work to discerning retail buyers in the U.S., who are searching for standout inventory to elevate their holiday collections.”

The partnership underscores GJEPC’s commitment to fostering international collaborations that create value for both manufacturers and retailers. By bridging the gap between Indian jewelry artisans and the U.S. retail market, this initiative aligns with the Council’s mission to promote the global reach of Indian jewelry.

“We’re thrilled to host GJEPC and its members at The INSTORE Jewelry Show,” said Matthijs Braakman, Publisher. “This partnership adds an exciting new dimension to our event, and we’re confident that the Indian pavilion will be a must-visit destination for buyers seeking unique and high-quality pieces.”

The INSTORE Jewelry Show is a premier platform for jewelry retailers, providing access to top-tier exhibitors, industry insights, and networking opportunities. With the addition of the Indian pavilion, the event promises to deliver an even more enriching and global experience for attendees.

Honoring a Legacy: How Smith & Son Jewelers Exceeded Every Goal With Wilkerson

When Andrew Smith decided to close the Springfield, Massachusetts location of Smith & Son Jewelers, the decision came down to family. His father was retiring after 72 years in the business, and Andrew wanted to spend more time with his children and soon-to-arrive grandchildren. For this fourth-generation jeweler whose great-grandfather founded the company in 1918, closing the 107-year-old Springfield location required the right partner. Smith chose Wilkerson, and the experience exceeded expectations from start to finish. "Everything they told me was 100% true," Smith says. "The ease and use of all their tools was wonderful." The consultants' knowledge and expertise proved invaluable. Smith and his father set their own financial goal, but Wilkerson proposed three more ambitious targets. "We thought we would never make it," Smith explains. "We were dead wrong. We hit our first goal, second goal and third goal. It was amazing." Smith's recommendation is emphatic: "I would never be able to do what they did by myself."
