The Jewelers Board of Trade Holds Annual Elections

(PRESS RELEASE) WARWICK, RI — The Jewelers Board of Trade a not-for-profit organization that is a leader in credit reporting and collection services, announced the election of the following Officers and Directors to its Board at the Company’s Annual Meeting on February 21, 2024 and Board Meeting on March 20, 2024.

The Board elected the following Officers and Directors to serve a one-year term as follows:

  • Chairman: Brian D. Fleming, Carla Corporation, E. Providence, RI
  • First Vice-Chairman: Jeffery Corey, H. E. Murdock Company Inc., Waterville, ME
  • Second Vice-Chairman: Keven Peck, Color Merchants, Inc., New York, NY
  • President: Erich Jacobs
  • Secretary: Brenda M. Pimentel
  • Treasurer: Erich Jacobs

JBT announced that Brian D. Fleming, treasurer and executive vice president of Carla Corporation has been elected chairman. Mr. Fleming was elected to the Board of Directors in 1999.

Andrew Rickard of Rochester Diamonds and Gold, Inc. was also appointed to the JBT executive committee.

  • Ms. Lika Behmoaras, ISC Industries, Inc. d/b/a Lika Behar Collection, Carlstadt, NJ

Ms. Behmoaras is an award winning jewelry designer of unique and intimate works of wearable art. She is on the Advisory Board of Gem Legacy and President of ISC Industries, Inc. d/b/a Lika Behar Collection, a wholesaler of fine gold jewelry, under the trade style Lika Behar Collection. Lika holds an MBA in International Finance from NYU.
