BEFORE WE GET into the big, bold and beautiful diamond jewelry seen on both Taylor Russell and Lady Gaga, let’s take a look at their earrings.
Both wore the trend that gave a nod to the 1940s and ’50s clip earrings with large on-the-lobe styles. Russell wore Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany star flower clip earrings in platinum and 18K gold and Gaga wore a pair that looked like starfish. These types of styles have been a burgeoning direction on the red carpet for a few seasons, and I believe their time has come to enter from high jewelry into the fine jewelry space.
Now let us take a look at the stunning legendary house’s necklace and bracelets. Russell also gave a nod to Jennifer Lawrence and other actresses who have worn their necklaces turned around and down their back on the red carpet throughout the years. This one was a Tiffany & Co. High Jewelry 11-carat pear-shaped diamond necklace that lit up the Maria premiere. The bracelet was also a showstopper of diamond, sapphire and rubellite featuring two koi fish joined together.
Gaga’s total look was equally awe-inspiring with a Tiffany High Jewelry necklace in platinum and 18K gold set with a marquise diamond of approximately 8 carats and and a Tiffany Victoria mixed cluster diamond bracelet.
They both went with a throwback to old Hollywood glamour, and they stood out as two of the best-jeweled women at the festival.
