Texas Jewelers Association Convention Set for Oct. 26-27

(PRESS RELEASE) This year’s TJA Convention being held in Houston October 26-27 at the Crowne Plaza Galleria and is sure to be one of the best in years. It is packed with great speakers like Harold Dupuy from Stuller talking about diamonds in the current market, Doug Hucker from ICA sharing what is going on in the color stone world internationally, John Ford with AGTA sharing the latest in the gem trade nationally and it’s standards, and the FBI with information that will help guide you and keep safe through the last quarter of the year and Into the next.

Round tables are back with educational information lead by Robert Loving from Time delay on how to detect imitation watches, Podium on communication with your customers, and Elemental will lead conversation about detecting fake gold and more.

Along with great speakers we will have 20 vendors that can help you finish those last minute needs for the holiday season. The presidents party on Saturday is the social hour of fun and mingling with your friends in the industry. Wrapping up the convention would not be complete without a jewelry design completion for the professional and for students, and an awards presentation dinner on Sunday with live music from the Matchsticks.
