(PRESS RELEASE) TROY, MI — The Jewelry Symposium (TJS), the jewelry industry’s annual international event dedicated specifically to the advancement of jewelry manufacturing technology, announces it is expanding in 2025, given the success of the 2024 event and the increase in proposals from jewelry experts wanting to attend and present new and helpful topics. The 2025 symposium will add an additional half day, increasing from the previous two-and-a-half-day schedule to now encompass three full days. The event will be held once again in Detroit, Michigan from May 17 to May 20, 2024. Highly regarded jewelry industry experts from all around the world will present cutting-edge information about jewelry manufacturing to bench jewelers, designers/manufacturers, students, retailers, and the press at the Detroit Marriott Troy, beginning with a networking dinner on May 17 followed by three full days of presentations May 18, 19, and 20.
“Now heading into our third year, we were delighted to receive an unprecedented number of abstracts from speakers who want to share their knowledge and expertise, across a wide range of topics related to the art of making jewelry,” says Linus Drogs, Chairman of Board, TJS. “The board and regular attendees all agreed to extend the schedule to allow for more presentations. There is truly something for everyone in the jewelry manufacturing business – students, veteran designers, manufacturers, and retailer bench jewelers. TJS 2025 will be our most comprehensive event yet, not to be missed!”
TJS’s multi-faceted board is comprised of a wide range of talents, reflecting the broad spectrum of audience that the event serves. Board members reviewed feedback from the 2024 symposium to ensure continuous improvement and a stellar event for 2025. Attendees for 2025 can expect exciting and meaningful content regarding metallurgy, the jewelry manufacturing process, additive manufacturing, gemstones, education/business, health and safety, A.I., and design/CAD.
