(PRESS RELEASE) ANTWERP, BE — The World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB) has announced that the global B2B diamond marketplace, GET-Diamonds.com (GET) is being relaunched, under a licensing agreement with YourDiamonds.com (YD) of Sydney, Australia.

The re-introduction of GET-Diamonds.com is being led by diamond industry veteran, Tim Goodman, founder of YourDiamonds.com a leading developer of technology for the diamond industry, which owns the license to manage the GET platform. Goodman is a 5th generation diamantaire, and former Executive Chair of Sotheby’s Australia.

As its very first action, GET has joined the WFDB to launch the 2024 Global Diamond Industry Survey, commencing today, inviting the industry to have a say in its future. The survey is offered to the GET and WFDB databases including tens of thousands of manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers, and can be completed by any member of the trade on the GET-Diamonds.com website.

GET-Diamonds.com is a transparent, data-driven trading platform created “by the industry, for the industry” with a growing inventory of polished natural diamonds and more than 1 million diamonds currently for sale. There are 29,000 approved members from over 100 countries currently enjoying GET-Diamonds’ services, free of charge.

The B2B trading platform makes transactions possible without ‘middlemen’, placing the power in the hands of the traders, saving them both time and money. Suppliers upload their inventory for sale and buyers search the lists and buy directly from the suppliers, offline.

The relaunch of the platform will feature new state-of-the-art technological tools to better serve users. The improved platform makes it easier for suppliers to upload their inventory and for buyers to search for the diamonds they need in an environment of greater transparency.

WFDB Vice-President Moshe Salem said that he was excited to relaunch the GET platform under the professional management of YourDiamonds.com. “We are pleased to entrust the operations of GET-Diamonds to such an experienced and technologically advanced company, whose goals align with those of the WFDB. YD’s principal, Tim Goodman’s, goal is to help the diamond industry move forward and he strongly believes that GET’s advanced technology platform will provide the keys.”

Goodman said, “We are honored and privileged to have been entrusted by the WFDB to operate the GET business. Our brief is to put service first; GET has over 29,000 approved members and we want to make their lives easier and more profitable.”

Ready to Relocate? Wilkerson Makes Your Move Seamless

When Brockhaus Jewelry decided to leave their longtime West Main Street storefront for a standalone building elsewhere in Norman, Oklahoma, owners John Brockhaus and Brad Shipman faced a familiar challenge: how to efficiently reduce inventory before the big move. Their solution? Partnering with liquidation specialists Wilkerson for a second time. "We'd already experienced Wilkerson's professionalism during a previous sale," Shipman recalls. "But their approach to our relocation event truly impressed us. They strategically prioritized our existing pieces while tactfully introducing complementary merchandise as inventory levels decreased." The carefully orchestrated sale didn't just meet targets—it shattered them. Asked if they'd endorse Wilkerson to industry colleagues planning similar transitions—whether relocating, retiring, or refreshing their space—both partners were emphatic in their approval. "The entire process was remarkably straightforward," Shipman notes. "Wilkerson delivered a well-structured program, paired us with a knowledgeable advisor, and managed every detail flawlessly from concept to completion."
