Home Depot (Atlanta), Lowe’s (Mooresville, NC) and Best Buy (Richfield, MN) will no longer carry products made by Lorex and Ezviz, Chinese companies whose video surveillance technologies have been linked to human rights abuses, TechCrunch reports.

Home Depot provided a statement to the outlet, saying it’s “committed to upholding the highest standards of ethical sourcing and we immediately stopped selling products from Lorex when this was brought to our attention.”

Best Buy said it was “discontinuing its relationship” with both Lorex and Ezviz.

The Biden administration said the Chinese government is orchestrating a “genocide” in Xinjiang, blaming Chinese video surveillance makers of having “been implicated in human rights violations and abuses in the implementation of China’s campaign of repression, mass arbitrary detention, and high-technology surveillance against Uighurs, Kazakhs and other members of Muslim minority groups.”

And with financial goals “exceeding expectations,” the couple can now focus on enjoying the next chapter of their lives. “It’s going to set us up very nicely for retirement,” says Jacki. “The money’s coming in and we have no complaints.
