Vicenzaoro September 2018 – the Jewellery Boutique Show

(PRESS RELEASE) VICENZA – VICENZAORO September 2018 – the Jewellery Boutique Show, the international gold and jewellery Show organized by Italian Exhibition Group S.p.A. (IEG) at Vicenza Exhibition Centre, open until 26th September. A show that, as Dario Galli, Vice Minister for Economic Development, pointed out, is the leading light of a manufacturing industry that, together with fashion, best represents the Italian ability to produce value thanks to an abundant network of SMEs. According to ICE President, Michele Scannavini, VICENZAORO is the most prestigious and important showcase for Italian gold and jewellery and, thanks to IEG’s work in integrating with other players in the sector, it can also aspire to becoming the most important show in the world. The President of Confindustria Federorafi, Ivana Ciabatti, also highlighted the strength of a sector that is highly inclined towards internationalization and which exports 85% of its turnover.

Said IEG president Lorenzo Cagnoni: “In its over 60 years of existence, VICENZAORO, has become the international platform for accessing the world’s leading consumer markets. This is why Italian Exhibition Group, Italy’s top player in terms of the number of shows it organizes directly and owns, is  working steadfastly on the most strategic international markets.” An effort that is rewarded and testified by the attendance of the Indian Ambassador to Italy, Mrs. Reenat Sandhu, at the inauguration, who, in outlining the Indian gold-jewellery market numbers, expressed her wish to intensify economic relations between Italy and India, especially in the design and manufacturing technology segments.

Vicenza-born senator Erika Stefani, Minister for Regional Affairs and Autonomies said that VICENZAORO is the Show that also represents Vicenza’s gold art history and tradition and is a gateway into the world.  And, as the Mayor of Vicenza, Francesco Rucco, declared as he presented the first edition of VIOFF, the Fuori Fiera (Off Show) dedicated to VICENZAORO, “if the world knows us because of this show, the aim is also to provide IEG’s guests with beautiful memories of the city to take home with them.”

VICENZAORO September, in an exhibition area totalling more than 54,000 square metres, represents the entire supply chain thanks to its innovative and well-consolidated exhibition format: VICENZAORO The Boutique Show, which subdivides the whole product offer into 6 districts of homogeneous companies, recognizable by their market positioning and values (ICON, LOOK, CREATION, EXPRESSION, ESSENCE, EVOLUTION), thus making business meetings between companies and international buyers easier.

Due to collaboration with the Ministry of Economic Development – MISE and ICE Agenzia (Italian Trade Agency) – 500 top buyers and 1000 Italian and European Gold Buyers are attending the Vicenza Show.

This Third-Generation Jeweler Was Ready for Retirement. He Called Wilkerson

Retirement is never easy, especially when it means the end to a business that was founded in 1884. But for Laura and Sam Sipe, it was time to put their own needs first. They decided to close J.C. Sipe Jewelers, one of Indianapolis’ most trusted names in fine jewelry, and call Wilkerson. “Laura and I decided the conditions were right,” says Sam. Wilkerson handled every detail in their going-out-of-business sale, from marketing to manning the sales floor. “The main goal was to sell our existing inventory that’s all paid for and turn that into cash for our retirement,” says Sam. “It’s been very, very productive.” Would they recommend Wilkerson to other jewelers who want to enjoy their golden years? Absolutely! “Call Wilkerson,” says Laura. “They can help you achieve your goals so you’ll be able to move into retirement comfortably.”
