An employee at a jewelry store in Austin, TX, was shot during a robbery, the Austin American-Statesman reports.

The worker suffered “potentially life-threatening injuries” and was hospitalized in stable condition as of Friday, according to the newspaper.

KXAN-TV reports that the store was Korman Fine Jewelers in Central Austin.

The robbery occurred shortly beforee 5 p.m. Thursday. Police have arrested several suspects and are still seeking others, according to the American-Statesman.

The names of the suspects have not been released.
