Watch Manufacturing: An Absolute Innovation That Will Revolutionize the Future(PRESS RELEASE) VICENZA — World debut at Vicenzaoro September, the international jewellery show, organized by IEG – Italian Exhibition Group, set to take place in Vicenza from 10th to 14th September, of a momentous breakthrough for watch manufacturing that will revolutionize timepiece mechanics.

Protagonist of the new Vo’Clock initiative dedicated to independent contemporary watchmaking, world-famous master watchmaker, Vincent Calabrese, co-founder of the Académie Horlogère des Créateurs Indépendants (AHCI) with 40 patents to his name, has chosen Vicenzaoro, where experts, enthusiasts and traders in the world of high-end watchmaking and vintage watches with VO Vintage will be gathered, to present the community with an innovative mechanism of his own invention able to revolutionize production and watch manufacturing. His Calasys system is the first real alternative to the “spiral”, the core of the operating system in watch mechanics because it regulates the speed.

The spiral, created in 1675, has been used for 5 centuries but, despite constant research, it is still not perfect from many aspects. The Calasys system, the result of Calabrese’s research and expertise and covered by an international patent, simply and effectively eliminates the spiral’s defects.

Calabrese will be presenting the Calasys system in person. The appointment is for Saturday, 11th September at 2.30 pm in Hall 8.1 – the Canova Room inside Vicenza’s Expo Centre to discover all the details of the new mechanism, its potential and advantages.
