ONE OF MY GUILTY pleasures throughout March was watching The White Lotus Season 3. While many friends were trying to figure out the mystery of who was killed at the hotel in Thailand, I was focused on identifying the jewelry and watches.
Some pieces were easy to recognize—Cartier and Louis Vuitton jewelry, along with watches from Rolex, Cartier, and Hermès. But then there were the surprises: jewels by David Webb, Jacob & Co., and Pamela Love, as well as lesser-known brands like LunaFlo London and fashion jewelry from Missoma. Each piece was chosen to reflect the characters’ personalities and backgrounds, while also fitting the show’s luxurious wellness spa setting in Thailand.
As always, The White Lotus delivered a satirical take on class and status wrapped in a murder mystery. And this season’s jewelry choices were either on trend or sure to start some.
Alex Bovaird, who also designed the costumes for Season 1 which took place in Hawaii and Season 2, in Sicily returned for Season 3. And FYI, the male characters’ watches were just as on target with the characters and their development
Here’s a look at some of the standout jewelry:
Lek Patravadi, playing Sritala, the hotel owner, wore Jacob & Co. Papillon earrings in 18K gold with green enamel, tsavorites, citrines, and diamonds.

She also wore a brooch fashioned as a 3-D monkey from David Webb.

And in another episode, she wore a Jacob & Co. Fleurs de Jardin watch set with tsavorite, rubies, multicolored sapphires and diamonds.

Parker Posey as Victoria Ratliff projected her wealth and status by wearing a yellow gold Rolex Day-Date Presidential Watch and Louis Vuitton bracelet. Her husband in the series, Timothy (Jason Isaacs), also wore a Day-Date Presidential watch.
Leslie Bibb as Kate, one of three longtime friends who reconnected on the trip, wore a fabulous David Webb Repoussé Elephant Cuff with a ruby in an early episode.

Bibb also wore two yellow gold Cartier Love bracelets in almost every episode after episode 1.
In her role as Jaclyn, one of the three friends and a film star, some of the pieces that Michelle Monaghan wore included a Hermès Nantucket watch in rose gold with a quartz movement and white mother-of-pearl dial. She also wore a pair of vintage “monkey see, monkey do” earrings and a pair of Pamela Love Dagger earrings.

Aimee Lou Wood’s character Chelsea wore a talisman dog tag by LunaFlo London throughout the series. It was engraved with the saying “Stay Gold.” On the designer’s website the dog tag was described as being “inspired by the 1983 film The Outsiders and a tribute to the iconic line, ’Stay gold, Ponyboy, Stay Gold.’” The necklace “reimagined the classic dog tag as a symbol of hope and staying true to oneself.” It also “echoes the message of Robert Frost’s poem ‘Nothing Gold Can Stay,'” serving as “a reminder to hold onto the goodness within, to find beauty in the world despite its hardships, and to never lose sight of who you are.”

Perhaps the most jaw-dropping jewel in the series was the David Webb serpent piece that was part of a robbery in the gift shop of the hotel in Episode 2. The characters of Chelsea and Chloe went shopping and Chelsea asked to try on the necklace, at which point a masked gunman entered and swiped it up. Originally a bracelet, the piece was turned into a necklace for the episode, as that is what the costume department required. It was crafted from textured 18-karat gold imitating the scales of a serpent. The snake’s head was accented with carved and cabochon emeralds. Diamonds also adorned the head and the tail.
No spoilers here, but if you didn’t stream the series, then take a day and binge watch for your jewelry and watch fix.
