With a Little Help, Jesse Metcalfe Designed Cara Santana’s Engagement Ring

The actor reached out to jewelry designer friend.

Actor Jesse Metcalfe tells AP that with some assistance, he designed the diamond engagement ring he gave his fiancee, actress Cara Santana (shown, with ring, in Instagram video). According to the interview, the “John Tucker Must Die” star reached out to a friend, jewelry maker Adam Campbell, for help creating the ring, which features an emerald-cut diamond. “I wanted a really feminine, delicate low-profile setting and band,” Metcalfe says, “with diamonds all the way around the band and the basket, and really small prongs holding the diamond.”
