The sighting: Actress Zendaya attended the Golden Globes in gorgeous burnt orange gown that radiated Old Hollywood chic. I was planning to write about her stunning Bulgari jewels, but a diamond on her left ring finger has pulled focus. Let’s discuss.

The jewels: According to Town and Country, Zendaya’s Golden Globes necklace was a Bulgari high jewelry creation with 12 pear-shaped diamonds, 21 round diamonds, 72 step-cut diamonds and a 31 carat Paraiba tourmaline from Mozambique.

The actress also wore a glamorous Bulgari cocktail ring that looked like it might hold another Paraiba. It was hard to judge the earring situation with that voluminous bob hiding her ears, but I think there were studs glinting in there.

Now, the engagement ring!!

Celebrity gossip site DeuxMoi received the following anonymous tip: “The ring on Zendaya’s left hand […] is not from Bulgari like the rest of her jewelry is. That is a $200,000+ engagement ring from Jessica McCormack, a London-based jeweller.”

The ring certainly looked like it could be by Jessica McCormack. It’s also telling that the ring was the only non-Bulgari piece that the actress wore to the awards show, especially because she removed her Bulgari jewels for an outfit change later in the evening but kept the ring on her left hand.

Experts offered differing opinions on the ring. Jeweler Laura Taylor of Lorel Diamonds estimated that the ring was likely a diamond in the 5-6 carat range, potentially worth $370,000-$500,000, Elle.com reported. Jeweler Steven Stone estimated the ring’s value at around $300,000, but added that it could be worth more.

Reporters asked Zendaya directly about the ring, but the actress’s only response was to wiggle her fingers, shrug and smile mysteriously.

The trends: I’m a huge fan of Jessica McCormack’s antique-inspired contemporary designs, so I’m excited about this ring’s trend potential. It appeared to feature an East-West set cushion cut diamond that I’m betting is an antique, based on the jeweler’s aesthetic and how the stone catches the light.

The diamond was set on a simple gold shank, nice and substantial, with what appeared to be the designer’s Georgian-inspired “button back” setting, which features a ring of contrasting metal around the edges of the diamond.

I’ll take this ring over a giant oval boulder on a tiny pavé shank any day.

What do we think? According to TMZ, “sources close to the couple” have now confirmed that the engagement rumors are true! And @StreamonMax, the Instagram account for the network that streams Zendaya’s popular show, Euphoria, posted a video of the ring with scenes from the show and the caption “I’ve never been happier,” which the internet is taking as official confirmation. Although it won’t feel real to me until I see Zendaya out and about with the ring still on her finger.

This is a fitting ring for one of the world’s most fashionable women: a perfect blend of classic beauty and distinctive personal style that feels just right for Zendaya.

Judgement: 1,000/10 from the edge of my seat – this has been such an exciting reveal!

Four Decades of Excellence: How Wilkerson Transformed a Jeweler's Retirement into Celebration

After 45 years serving the Milwaukee community, Treiber & Straub Jewelers owner Michael Straub faced a significant life transition. At 75, the veteran jeweler made a personal decision many business owners understand: "I think it's time. I want to enjoy my wife with my grandchildren for the next 10, 15 years." Wilkerson's expertise transformed this major business transition into an extraordinary success. Their comprehensive approach to managing the going-out-of-business sale created unprecedented customer response—with lines forming outside the store and limits on how many shoppers could enter at once due to fire safety regulations. The results exceeded all expectations. "Wilkerson did a phenomenal job," Straub enthuses. "They were there for you through the whole thing, helped you with promoting it, helping you on day-to-day business. I can't speak enough for how well they did." The partnership didn't just facilitate a business closing; it created a celebratory finale to decades of service while allowing Straub to confidently step into his well-earned retirement.
