ZOE SALDAÑA TOOK HOME this year’s Critics Choice Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Movie for her role in Emilia Pérez. She also wore a winning combination of jewelry by Cartier and gown by Saint Laurent. The fiery red gown was detailed with draped shoulder and open back and created a glamorous look for the star, who is receiving a lot of attention this awards season. Before I go on to talk about my favorite subject, the jewelry, it’s worth a mention that Saint Laurent Productions co-produced and costumed Emilia Pérez. So it’s no wonder that she also wore Saint Laurent to the Golden Globes, where she looked stunning.

Now on to the jewels. The choker revival circled back again last season and will most likely continue into the 2025 holidays. Saldaña’s necklace — the 2012 Cartier Collection black satin choker with a Panthère in diamonds, emeralds and onyx set into 18K white gold — tapped into this. It was one of my favorite jewels of the evening because it was on trend and added a touch of nonchalant wit to her ensemble.

She also wore Panthère de Cartier earrings in 18K white gold, diamonds and onyx, C de Cartier earrings in 18K white gold and diamonds, and two Cartier Collection rings — one from 2013 and one from 2012. These also featured a mix of diamonds, emeralds and onyx, as well as lacquer.

Saldaña has not only proved to be an amazing actress but has also risen to the ranks of style-setter over the past few years. I can’t wait to see what she wears next.

Ready to Relocate? Wilkerson Makes Your Move Seamless

When Brockhaus Jewelry decided to leave their longtime West Main Street storefront for a standalone building elsewhere in Norman, Oklahoma, owners John Brockhaus and Brad Shipman faced a familiar challenge: how to efficiently reduce inventory before the big move. Their solution? Partnering with liquidation specialists Wilkerson for a second time. "We'd already experienced Wilkerson's professionalism during a previous sale," Shipman recalls. "But their approach to our relocation event truly impressed us. They strategically prioritized our existing pieces while tactfully introducing complementary merchandise as inventory levels decreased." The carefully orchestrated sale didn't just meet targets—it shattered them. Asked if they'd endorse Wilkerson to industry colleagues planning similar transitions—whether relocating, retiring, or refreshing their space—both partners were emphatic in their approval. "The entire process was remarkably straightforward," Shipman notes. "Wilkerson delivered a well-structured program, paired us with a knowledgeable advisor, and managed every detail flawlessly from concept to completion."
