Diamonds Do Good Releases 2025 Impact Report

(PRESS RELEASE) NEW YORK, NY — Diamonds Do Good released its 2025 Impact Report, highlighting the organization’s ongoing progress in promoting positive social impact across natural diamond-producing and crafting communities, while boosting consumer confidence in natural diamonds.

The report highlights Diamonds Do Good’s grant-making efforts and partnerships that support education, health, and economic opportunities in communities where natural diamonds are mined, crafted, and sold—underscoring the significant role the natural diamond industry plays worldwide.

“We are deeply thankful for the support and leadership of our supporters and partners,” said Pete Engel, Chair of Diamonds Do Good. “Their ongoing commitment helps us grow our impact, further our mission, and share genuine stories that connect with today’s consumers.”

Looking ahead, 2026 marks a key milestone for Diamonds Do Good: 20 years of promoting the positive impact of natural diamonds. During this anniversary year, the organization will honor leaders whose work reflects the values central to its mission through the Diamonds Do Good Awards. The previously announced 2026 honorees, Tiffany & Co., Anna Martin, and CD Peacock, exemplify industry leadership rooted in responsibility, transparency, and community involvement.

Diamonds Do Good looks forward to reconnecting with stakeholders in the New Year and sharing more about its initiatives and celebrations planned for the year ahead.

Honoring a Legacy: How Smith & Son Jewelers Exceeded Every Goal With Wilkerson

When Andrew Smith decided to close the Springfield, Massachusetts location of Smith & Son Jewelers, the decision came down to family. His father was retiring after 72 years in the business, and Andrew wanted to spend more time with his children and soon-to-arrive grandchildren. For this fourth-generation jeweler whose great-grandfather founded the company in 1918, closing the 107-year-old Springfield location required the right partner. Smith chose Wilkerson, and the experience exceeded expectations from start to finish. "Everything they told me was 100% true," Smith says. "The ease and use of all their tools was wonderful." The consultants' knowledge and expertise proved invaluable. Smith and his father set their own financial goal, but Wilkerson proposed three more ambitious targets. "We thought we would never make it," Smith explains. "We were dead wrong. We hit our first goal, second goal and third goal. It was amazing." Smith's recommendation is emphatic: "I would never be able to do what they did by myself."
