REEDS Jewelers Celebrates Opening of New Landmark Location at Fenton in Cary, NC

(PRESS RELEASE) CARY, N.C.— REEDS Jewelers celebrated the opening of its newest location in Cary’s premium Fenton shopping center with an exclusive media and VIP preview on December 10. The new 7,800-square-foot store at 201 Fenton Gateway Drive marks a major expansion for the family-owned luxury jeweler as it celebrates 80 years of excellence.

Media and local influencers gathered for an intimate first look at the stunning showroom, enjoying cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while experiencing REEDS’ signature hospitality and exploring the curated collection of fine jewelry and Swiss timepieces.

“Cary is an ideal home for REEDS’ continued growth,” said Genna Zimmer, vice president of REEDS Jewelers and granddaughter of founders Bill and Roberta Zimmer. “As the next generation of family leadership, I’m proud to see our brand expand in a community that shares our passion for quality, craftsmanship and connection. Fenton’s high-end, experience-driven environment is a perfect fit for REEDS, and we look forward to bringing customers the same expertise and personalized service that have defined us since 1946.”

A Landmark store is a modern retail concept by REEDS that reimagines the company’s founding values of personal service, lasting relationships, and luxury goods at competitive prices. The Cary Landmark store features a luxurious and welcoming atmosphere showcasing a wide range of fine jewelry and Swiss timepieces from brands including Rolex, Omega, Tudor, Breitling, TAG Heuer, David Yurman, Pandora, Roberto Coin, and more.

“After a decade of working with fine timepieces, I’ve learned that a watch is more than just a way to tell time — it’s about craftsmanship and personal story,” said Angel Aviles, store director at REEDS Jewelers. “At our new Fenton Landmark location, we share that same level of care and expertise across every category, from Swiss watches to bridal jewelry. That personal guidance makes the in-store experience one of a kind.”

If you were unable to attend the media preview and would like to schedule a VIP tour or interview with Genna Zimmer, please contact us to arrange a time.

Closing With Confidence: How Bailey's Fine Jewelry Achieved Outstanding Results With Wilkerson

When Trey Bailey, President and CEO of Bailey's Fine Jewelry, decided to close the Crabtree location in Raleigh, North Carolina after 15 years, he knew the decision needed to be handled with intention and professionalism. The goal was clear: exit the location while maintaining financial strength and honoring the store's legacy. Having worked with Wilkerson successfully in the past, Bailey understood the value of their comprehensive approach. "They understood both the emotional and financial sides of the store closing sale," Trey explains. "Their reputation for professionalism, results and care made it a very easy decision." The results exceeded expectations. Wilkerson helped Bailey's sell through significant inventory while maintaining the dignity of the closing process. "They don't just run a sale, they help close a chapter in the best way possible," Bailey says, strongly recommending Wilkerson to any jeweler facing a similar transition.
