A new court filing in the bankruptcy proceedings for Claire’s Holdings LLC (Hoffman Estates, Ill.) lists the 235 Claire’s and 56 sister brand Icing stores new owner Ames Watson plans to close – and also the 785 Claires and 45 Icing locales it plans to keep in operation, at least for now.

That’s in keeping with the sentiments expressed by Ames Watson Co-Founder Lawrence Berger when his company’s plans to acquire the struggling retailer were disclosed earlier this month: “We are committed to investing in Claire’s future by preserving a significant retail footprint across North America.”

To find out which stores are closing, scroll down to Exhibit A in the court document link above; for those staying open, refer to the following Exhibit B.
