VERRAGIO Launches Revolutionary Patent-Pending Ring Embellishers

(PRESS RELEASE) NEW YORK, NY — VERRAGIO, the beloved 28+ year bridal brand, announces the expansion of its new “Vanguard” collection with patent-pending Ring Embellisher. The Vanguard Ring Embellishers are revolutionary new ring jackets designed to hold the center ring securely in place. These innovative Ring Embellishers effectively meet the modern demand for versatility from bridal customers as they can be worn solo or with a center commitment ring or wedding band. The Ring Embellishers are sold as designer sets with new engagement rings or wedding bands of similar design or sold separately to wear with existing Verragio rings. Engagement rings in the Vanguard Collection start at $1,750; wedding bands that fit and lock into the Ring Embellishers start at $2,550; Ring Embellishers in the Vanguard Collection start at $3,250. A few prototypes debuted at the Couture show in Las Vegas in June 2024. More styles are now available and can be seen at Verragio.com/vanguard-collection. Verragio plans to extend the assortment to offer a wide variety of styles.

“The Vanguard collection with our incredible new Ring Embellishers is one of the first designer collections to really bridge the gap between the world of fine jewelry, everyday wearables, and bridal,” says Barry Verragio, Founder of the VERRAGIO brand. “We are thrilled to offer bridal customers the element of versatility. Brides are no longer limited to one look on the third finger of their left hand. The embellisher sets are beautiful and can be worn by themselves or with an engagement ring or with an eternity band – maybe one look for the engagement party, another for the wedding, and yet another for the reception. Similarly, for the rest of one’s life, the ring embellisher can be added when worn for dressy or evening attire and removed for more casual day outfits.”

How It Works:
The stylish new Vanguard Ring Embellishers combine functionality and versatility with maximum personality. The unique Euro-style shank locks the center engagement ring or wedding band into place, assuring they always face upward on the finger. The designs feature natural diamonds in the customer’s choice of 14K or 18K white, yellow, or rose gold or platinum. Key style elements from the Vanguard Fine Jewelry collection are incorporated, such as geometric shapes, mixing of diamond cuts, and Art Deco elements inspired by architecture in the brand’s New York City home. The collection also includes earring jackets to enhance classic solitaire studs, similarly adding to the versatility. The expansion of the Vanguard collection into the bridal category showcases Verragio’s commitment to individualized style, allowing clients more options to express their personality for different styles and the many occasions related to contemporary weddings and lifestyles.

Honoring a Legacy: How Smith & Son Jewelers Exceeded Every Goal With Wilkerson

When Andrew Smith decided to close the Springfield, Massachusetts location of Smith & Son Jewelers, the decision came down to family. His father was retiring after 72 years in the business, and Andrew wanted to spend more time with his children and soon-to-arrive grandchildren. For this fourth-generation jeweler whose great-grandfather founded the company in 1918, closing the 107-year-old Springfield location required the right partner. Smith chose Wilkerson, and the experience exceeded expectations from start to finish. "Everything they told me was 100% true," Smith says. "The ease and use of all their tools was wonderful." The consultants' knowledge and expertise proved invaluable. Smith and his father set their own financial goal, but Wilkerson proposed three more ambitious targets. "We thought we would never make it," Smith explains. "We were dead wrong. We hit our first goal, second goal and third goal. It was amazing." Smith's recommendation is emphatic: "I would never be able to do what they did by myself."
