THREE DIFFERENT JAW-DROPPING green gemstone and (chrysoprase and emerald) and diamond statement necklaces were seen at three different events on three different actresses. And if three makes a trend — this will definitely be one.

Singer and actress Andra Day wore a strapless white gown with $1.3 million Cartier high jewelry including the Cartier Le Voyage Recommencé necklace with diamonds and emeralds. She complemented the look with bold Cartier Géométrie & Contrastes earrings of chrysoprase, onyx and diamonds, and a white gold and diamond Panthère cuff.

White also provided the backdrop for Elle Fanning’s Cartier jewels. She channeled Marilyn Monroe in a Ralph Lauren halter-neck pleated skirted gown in a scene from the 1955 movie The Seven Year Itch, when Monroe’s character stands over a NYC subway grate and a gust of wind blows her dress upwards. Fanning’s stylist Samantha McMillen chose the perfect jewel — the Cartier Géométrie & Contrastes choker necklace of chrysoprase, onyx and pavé diamonds which added a modern look although it was originally designed at the beginning of the 20th century. She also wore the company’s Reflection de Cartier Bracelet, Reflection de Cartier Ring Jewelry Watch, and a Cartier 18 Karat White Gold Five Row Diamond Eternity Ring.

She wore matching emerald and diamond earrings, and a ring and bracelet of emeralds and diamonds as well as other pieces from the Haute Joaillerie collection from the house.
