AWCI Announces New Dates for Time-Con and the American Timepiece Fair

(PRESS RELEASE) CINCINNATI, OH — The American Watchmakers-Clockmakers Institute (AWCI) announces that the American Timepiece Fair and Time-Con will take place at The Summit Hotel in Cincinnati on October 8th – 10th, 2020. Our events, originally scheduled for March were postponed following the recommendations of the State of Ohio due to the coronavirus COVID-19. We have already confirmed that nearly every presenter will be able to participate this fall and we will be updating our web site as more information is available at www.awci.com/timecon.

The American Timepiece Fair showcasing watches, clocks, and the supporting industry is free and open to the public. This fair is unlike any other watch show because it features a curated selection of both new and used timepieces, watchmakers, clockmakers, and tool suppliers. Bring in your family heirloom and ask questions of our professionals who will be on hand buying, selling and offering Roadshow style appraisals.

For those looking for a more in-depth horological experience Time-Con 2020 is three days of lectures, networking, and socializing running from October 8th through the 10th at the Summit Hotel. Some of this year’s lectures include engine turning, ship’s bell clocks, complicated restorations, history of timekeeping, Herschede tubular bell clocks, and much more. Registration for Time-Con is $599 ($499 before September 1st).
