Today, a gorgeously rustic showroom fronts a 7,800 square foot space, including a manufacturing workshop that holds “the largest collection of vintage machinery still in operation,” according to Kohl. Education Session: Which Platform is the Best Platform for My Website?

If you want to create a new website, but you’re overwhelmed by the many platform options and their competing claims of being the best, you’re not alone. It’s easier than ever to create a website yourself, less expensive than ever to have a professional firm create one for you, and more exciting than ever to see what your new website can do. But no platform does everything, each platform has a different learning curve, and every platform has some unique benefits and drawbacks. You need to choose the right platform for your business type and goals, and you must consider both the cost to build and the cost-to-own. In this session, Andrea Hill will walk you through the various platforms, their relative benefits, relative costs-of-ownership, and how to choose the right platform for your business and your website management requirements.

Today, their Colorado store is one of the coolest in the country, integrating a “raising the bar” concept into various areas of the store, from Bridal Bar with private booths to “Pour Your Heart Into It” Jewelry Casting Bar where clients cast their own wedding bands. Join Trace Shelton, editor-in-chief of INSTORE, as he interviews Troy Thollot about what makes his store “cool” and what other stores can learn from his operation.

Wilkerson Testimonials

If It’s Time to Consolidate, It’s Time to Call Wilkerson

When Tom Moses decided to close one of the two Moses Jewelers stores in western Pennsylvania, it was time to call in the experts. After reviewing two candidates, Moses, a co-owner of the 72 year-old business, decided to go with Wilkerson. The sale went better than expected. Concerned about running it during the pandemic, Moses says it might have helped the sale. “People wanted to get out, so there was pent-up demand,” he says. “Folks were not traveling so there was disposable income, and we don’t recall a single client commenting to us, feeling uncomfortable. It was busy in here!” And perhaps most importantly, Wilkerson was easy to deal with, he says, and Susan, their personal Wilkerson consultant, was knowledgeable, organized and “really good.” Now, the company can focus on their remaining location — without the hassle of carrying over merchandise that either wouldn’t fit or hadn’t sold. “The decision to hire Wilkerson was a good one,” says Moses.
