$1M in Jewelry Taken as Burglars Cut Through Wall to Enter Store

Burglars took $1 million merchandise from a New Jersey jewelry store.

The crime happened between 8 p.m. March 27 and 10 a.m. March 28 at Venzio Jewelers in Ocean County Mall, the Toms River Police Department stated on Facebook.

“Entry was made into the rear office area by cutting a hole in the wall of an adjacent empty store,” police said.

“The suspect(s) cut the phone and alarm cables and apparently used a torch to enter a large safe and remove approximately $1 million dollars’ worth of jewelry.”
