COLOR WHEELS

For all the talk of color creeping into the wedding and engagement category, lots of women will not give up on the idea of a diamond solitaire. One way to inject color into wedding jewelry without sacrificing the traditional solitaire is with an eternity band with gemstones.

ARCHITECTURAL MODELS

Fancy shape diamonds a have been getting plenty of attention, but look for mountings with unusual shapes to make an impact, too. Stripped down designs that play up a stone’s character can make an engagement ring feel fashionable without looking trendy or fussy.

Itsy bitsy rings that are reminiscent of the stackable styles that we’ve seen in the fashion category are also likely to make their way into the world of weddings. Brides who want to adapt that look for their wedding jewelry will sometimes opt for an engagement ring on a smaller scale and add more pieces with the passage of time.
