(PRESS RELEASE) As announced in the summer by Berna Gabriel at Women’s Jewelry Association’s gala event, Gabriel & Co., in partnership with WJA, has curated the Gabriel Love Foundation Student Scholarship.
A $5,000 scholarship is being awarded to one dedicated female student enrolled in fine jewelry design courses between Aug. 1, 2018, and July 31, 2019. This scholarship has been established to help provide funding for passionate students to achieve professional growth within the fine jewelry industry. Consideration will be given to students who are able to clearly articulate a strong interest in contributing to charitable efforts to improve the quality of life for the less fortunate in underserved communities.
Applications for this scholarship are open to members and non-members of the Women’s Jewelry Association. The application process consists of a completed online application, a written essay, three images of design samples, and proof of enrollment.
Submissions are accepted from Feb. 28 to April 18, 2018. Beginning Feb. 24, the application process will be open and conducted online through callforentry.org. Applicants must submit their applications by April 18. Please note that student scholarships are paid directly to the institution.
