Surat businessman Savji Dholaki, the owner of Hare Krishna Exporters has reportedly gifted three Mercedes-Benz GLS SUVs to three senior staff members of the company.
Why, you ask? Because they completed 25 years of service with the company!
He gifted his employees 400 flats and 1260 cars two years ago and continues his generosity.
The luxury SUV is powered by a 3-litre V6 engine. Its on-road price in Surat is near Rs 1 crore, a report said.
The car is coupled with a seven-speed automatic transmission gearbox. It comes with LED headlamps and intelligent lighting system along with features such as panoramic sunroof, three-zone climate control system among others.
The employees Nilesh Jada (40), Mukesh Chandpara (38) and Mahesh Chandpara (43) were handed the car keys at an event in Surat by Madhya Pradesh Governor and former Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel.
Dholakia told The Times Of India, “These three had joined us when they were just around 13 or 15 years old. They started with learning to cut diamonds and polish it and now they are not only experts but most senior and one of the most trusted people of our country.”
He further said, “I felt we must recognize their work and loyalty to the company and so I decided to gift them these cars as our gratitude to them and their loyalty and hard work.”
