Here’s What the New Google Smartwatches May Look Like

Renderings of watches created from leaked info.

With rumors swirling regarding the two smartwatches that Google is developing, Android Police used “primary source material” to create renderings of what the watches may look like. The article says the watches are being referred to by the codenames of “Angelfish” and “Swordfish,” each of which is integrated with Google Assistant and may become available soon after Google’s in-development Nexus smartphone is released.

Angelfish, the article explains, “will be the ‘full-on’ standalone smartwatch, owing to its LTE connectivity, GPS, and heart rate sensor. It will be the do-all device that will allow Google to demonstrate Wear’s most robust capabilities, including the announcement at Google I/O that Android Wear 2.0 will support standalone apps.” Swordfish, meanwhile, is expected to be a scaled-down version with a lower price point.
