Jeweler to Open in 2 US Cities, With More Expansion Planned

The firm already has a boutique in NY.

Mumbai, India-based Nirav Modi is opening a store each in Honolulu and Las Vegas, building on the U.S. presence it established with a New York retail location in 2015.

And the brand anticipates opening additional U.S. stores in coming years, WWD reports.

The Honolulu and Las Vegas stores are set to open this month. 

Nirav Modi, founder of the company, said the cities make sense because “there is a very interesting mix of consumers who travel frequently to both of these destinations for shopping and are luxury aficionados,” WWD reports.

He said he U.S. is “an incredibly important market for us.”

The company also operates stores in Mumbai, Delhi, Sinapore, Macau, Hog Kong, Beijing and London.
