Jewelers of America to Host Designer Preview & Member Meetup

It’s a chance to see products from JA Supplier Members.

(Press Release) NEW YORK – Jewelers of America, the jewelry association for businesses serving the fine jewelry marketplace, is hosting its Designer Preview & Member Meetup on Sunday, July 23, at Clyde Frazier’s Wine & Dine. JA Retail Members will have the opportunity to mingle with fellow jewelers and enjoy complimentary food and drinks while previewing jewelry from a selection of JA Supplier Members. The Designer Preview & Member Meetup – sponsored by Synchrony Financial, Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company and United Precious Metal Refining, Inc. – is free for JA Retail Members and press to attend but registration is required.

“We are committed to helping our members stay successful in every aspect of their businesses,” says JA President and CEO David J. Bonaparte. “We strive to provide a wide variety of educational platforms, networking opportunities and business development tools that will help them maximize their profits and thrive in every economic cycle. Jewelers of America is also producing two days of free seminars during the JA New York Show on Sunday, July 23, and Monday, July 24, at The Javits Center. Jewelers of America’s Education Program, sponsored by Synchrony Financial, will feature nine informational sessions on topics including marketing, social media, customer relationships and more. JA Retail Members are also invited to attend the next Jewelers of America Idea Exchange on Monday, July 24, 8:15-10 a.m. The knowledge sharing session will feature interactive roundtable discussion, covering topics on email marketing, Instagram and in-store events. This Idea Exchange is free and open to JA Retail Members to connect and brainstorm with industry colleagues about specific challenges and opportunities facing their businesses. Sales and Management Professional Certification Exams

Jewelers of America is offering its renowned Sales and Management Professional Certification exams onsite at the JA New York Show from 10 a.m.–noon on July 23 and 9–11 a.m. on July 24 at The Javits Center in Room 4A3. The exams will take two hours and cost $55 for JA members and $75 for non-members. Those who register in advance will receive a $10 discount.
