Jewelers Robbed of $145,000 in Connecticut Home Invasion

The owners of a jewelry store in Wethersfield, CT, were robbed at gunpoint in their home.

The culprits took $145,000 in cash and jewelry, the Hartford Courant reports.

The robbery at the Ellington, CT, home took place shortly before 4 a.m. Saturday. The victims told police that three men broke into their home and tied them up.

No injuries were reported.

Police have not released the names of the victims or their store.
