Jewelry Wholesalers Robbed of $500,000 in Goods

Police say wholesale jewelers were robbed of merchandise worth about $500,000.

The crime took place in a Whole Foods parking lot in Tampa.

Three suspects were seen fleeing in a dark Chrysler minivan, according to a Facebook post from the Tampa Police Department. Scroll down to see the post, which includes three photos from the scene.

Police described the stolen goods only as “various jewelry.”

The victims were in town to meet with clients.
