The sighting: Actress Danielle Brooks recently attended the 2026 Critics Choice Awards, where she was nominated for her work on HBO’s “Peacemaker”. She wore a semi-sheer, figure-hugging black gown and some extremely buzzworthy jewels for the occasion.
The jewels: According to Only Natural Diamonds, Danielle Brooks’ jewelry is all Chopard Haute Joaillerie.
The showstopper here is the necklace, which features 126.04 carats of diamonds and 65.40 carats of sapphires in 18K white gold.
The actress accessorized her spectacular necklace with diamond stud earrings (4.05 TCW) and an assortment of Chopard diamond rings totaling an additional 12 carats of diamonds.
The trends: We’ve seen major red carpet necklaces getting shorter and more colorful towards the end of last year and this Chopard stunner definitely qualifies as fitting both of those trends. It also has a whiff of 1980’s glamour about it, which is going to be big for 2026.
What do we think? This is magnificent. The sheer, unadulterated glamour of that thick necklace with its background of diamonds and perfect, deep blue sapphires would be luscious in any situation, but I lovveeeee that Brooks and her stylist chose to add diamond stud earrings and a smattering of diamond rings to keep the sparkle going throughout the ensemble.
I think I might wish the necklace were an inch or two longer, so that it was more solidly on Brooks’ clavicle rather than her neck? But that impulse may just be me projecting my own personal dislike of wearing necklaces that feel too short.
Judgement: 200/10 for a truly glorious look that I miiiiight tweak the tiniest bit, but still love.

Honoring a Legacy: How Smith & Son Jewelers Exceeded Every Goal With Wilkerson
When Andrew Smith decided to close the Springfield, Massachusetts location of Smith & Son Jewelers, the decision came down to family. His father was retiring after 72 years in the business, and Andrew wanted to spend more time with his children and soon-to-arrive grandchildren.
For this fourth-generation jeweler whose great-grandfather founded the company in 1918, closing the 107-year-old Springfield location required the right partner. Smith chose Wilkerson, and the experience exceeded expectations from start to finish.
"Everything they told me was 100% true," Smith says. "The ease and use of all their tools was wonderful."
The consultants' knowledge and expertise proved invaluable. Smith and his father set their own financial goal, but Wilkerson proposed three more ambitious targets. "We thought we would never make it," Smith explains. "We were dead wrong. We hit our first goal, second goal and third goal. It was amazing."
Smith's recommendation is emphatic: "I would never be able to do what they did by myself."
