Blanco’s brooch matching his wife’s earrings may not be a trend yet, but it should be!

The sighting: Recently married superstar couple Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco were a perfectly matched set at the 2026 Golden Globes in black and white outfits with scores of sparkling natural diamonds! Let’s take a look.

The jewels: Gomez wore Chanel’s High Jewelry Soleil Mademoiselle earrings in 18K white gold with diamonds. The earrings were a statement stud style with a wonderfully dramatic firework design. Gomez further accessorized with an assortment of Chanel rings.

Blanco wore jewelry from several sources: a spectacular antique diamond necklace from Neil Lane (the same necklace that Madonna wore to the 2026 Met Gala), vintage diamond bracelets from Neil Lane, silver rings from Eriness Jewelry, a $700,000 a Jacob & Co.
Boutique watch in 18K white gold with more than 20 carats of diamonds, and, finally, a Chanel diamond brooch that subtly echoed the shape of his wife’s earrings.

Thanks to Only Natural Diamonds and Who Wore What Jewels for the jewelry credits!

The trends: A few big trends here! White metals, formal watches, archival jewels on red carpets, statement stud earrings, choosing natural diamonds for prestige jewels, and men wearing jewelry are a few of the biggest. There’s also a strong hint of 1980’s revival around Gomez’s earrings, especially with that feathered off-the-shoulder gown.

Blanco wearing a brooch that matches his wife’s earrings may not be a trend yet, but it should be!! So sweet and stylish.

What do we think? This is simply fantastic. I obviously don’t know Selena Gomez or Benny Blanco but I love how happy and relaxed they always look together. Happy and relaxed and stylish, I should say, because everything about this couple’s red carpet moment is serving serious chic.

Judgement: 83/10 for a truly impressive red carpet date night look.

Honoring a Legacy: How Smith & Son Jewelers Exceeded Every Goal With Wilkerson

When Andrew Smith decided to close the Springfield, Massachusetts location of Smith & Son Jewelers, the decision came down to family. His father was retiring after 72 years in the business, and Andrew wanted to spend more time with his children and soon-to-arrive grandchildren. For this fourth-generation jeweler whose great-grandfather founded the company in 1918, closing the 107-year-old Springfield location required the right partner. Smith chose Wilkerson, and the experience exceeded expectations from start to finish. "Everything they told me was 100% true," Smith says. "The ease and use of all their tools was wonderful." The consultants' knowledge and expertise proved invaluable. Smith and his father set their own financial goal, but Wilkerson proposed three more ambitious targets. "We thought we would never make it," Smith explains. "We were dead wrong. We hit our first goal, second goal and third goal. It was amazing." Smith's recommendation is emphatic: "I would never be able to do what they did by myself."
