June Fair to Host one of Asia’s Biggest Gemstone Marketplaces

(PRESS RELEASE) Coloured gemstone buyers looking for the rare and extraordinary will find a wealth of choices at the four-day June Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair, which kicks off on June 21 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre.

The most important mid-year event in the jewellery trade calendar, the June Fair serves as a powerful platform for buyers to connect directly with around 2,000 suppliers from 41 countries and regions.

The Gemstone section will feature more than 450 exhibitors from around the globe, giving attendees plenty of opportunities to tap into the expertise of some of the best-known names in the industry.

What’s New in 2018?

This year, the Antique & Vintage Jewellery Pavilion will be relocated to the Grand Foyer while the Fei Cui Gallery will be joining the Fine Design Pavilion and Fine Gem Pavilion in the Grand Hall. These highly curated floor spaces, which will feature some of the finest and rarest gems and jewels, will spark cross-aisle synergy and deliver an enhanced trade show experience to both exhibitors and buyers.

The Core Pavilion

The CORE Pavilion, located in Halls 1C-E, is where one will find the highest concentration of Hong Kong’s established jewellery manufacturers. These companies have expanded their international reach in partnership with UBM Asia’s Jewellery & Gem Fairs in Hong Kong, and have been actively promoting the city’s standing as a frontrunner in the field of jewellery design, manufacturing and branding. The pavilion is a must-visit for jewellers in search of the world-class jewellery products and outstanding service that Hong Kong is known for.

Fine Design Pavilion | Fine Gem Pavilion

The signature pavilions in the Grand Hall of the HKCEC bring together some of the world’s leading luxury ateliers known for their exquisitely crafted jewellery collections, exclusive high-end timepieces, and top-quality coloured gemstones, diamonds and pearls.

Exhibitors are grouped under specialty pavilions according to the products they offer. This initiative makes the June Fair easy to navigate and thus enhances business matching between exhibitors and buyers.

Admission to the Fair 

Visitors under the age of 18 will not be admitted. During the pre-registration for the June Fair, a visitor’s passport/ national identity card numbers/ Exit-entry Permit for Travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macau, and document scans may be collected for the prevention and detection of crime, and to protect the security and safety of the Jewellery exhibitions. Such data will be stored in the databases of the Organisers in order to verify the visitor’s identity before, during and – for a reasonable time – after the Jewellery exhibitions. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse admission to visitors who fail to comply with these requirements. Registration counters will be closed 30 minutes before the fair ends.

Visa Application

Visitors from most countries and regions do not need a visa to enter Hong Kong, just a valid passport.

New pre-arrival registration for Indian Nationals was launched on 23 January 2017 by the Government of HKSAR. Indian Nationals must apply for and successfully complete pre-arrival registration online before they can visit Hong Kong.
