Hudson looked like a Hollywood goddess at this year’s Golden Globes with the help of her stylist, Sophie Lopez. She walked the red carpet in a custom vintage Armani Privé Armani platinum gown sparking with crystals at the neckline and down the front with Italy’s Garatti diamond earrings, bracelets and rings. The company is known best for their natural green diamonds but also lent white, green and pink diamonds to Hudson for the awards show, which included dangling diamond earrings of over six carats and a platinum bracelet featuring almost eight carats of white diamonds. Her rings were truly special: one featuring a pear-shaped green diamond and another, a green diamond center with pink and white diamonds.

For the Critics’ Choice Awards, Hudson made a bold statement in a fiery red strapless Stella McCartney gown featuring a corset-inspired top and short skirt, with fabric draping into a floor-length train. Her jewelry complemented both her blonde hair and the gown beautifully.

The necklace deserves special mention — one of the best I’ve seen on the red carpet this season (and yes, there’s been competition). From Chopard, it featured 43.32 TCW of diamonds, expertly styled against the sweetheart bustier neckline. She also wore a ring with black diamonds and a single white diamond from the Haute Joaillerie Collection. Her diamond earrings were from the Precious Lace Collection.

She wore just the right amount of jewelry for each look, perfectly placed. I can’t wait to see what comes next for SAG and the Oscars. Can it get better than this? We’ll have to wait and see.

If you prefer one of her looks over another, please put it in the comments!

Honoring a Legacy: How Smith & Son Jewelers Exceeded Every Goal With Wilkerson

When Andrew Smith decided to close the Springfield, Massachusetts location of Smith & Son Jewelers, the decision came down to family. His father was retiring after 72 years in the business, and Andrew wanted to spend more time with his children and soon-to-arrive grandchildren. For this fourth-generation jeweler whose great-grandfather founded the company in 1918, closing the 107-year-old Springfield location required the right partner. Smith chose Wilkerson, and the experience exceeded expectations from start to finish. "Everything they told me was 100% true," Smith says. "The ease and use of all their tools was wonderful." The consultants' knowledge and expertise proved invaluable. Smith and his father set their own financial goal, but Wilkerson proposed three more ambitious targets. "We thought we would never make it," Smith explains. "We were dead wrong. We hit our first goal, second goal and third goal. It was amazing." Smith's recommendation is emphatic: "I would never be able to do what they did by myself."
