(PRESS RELEASE) SRK Empire, the LEED Platinum certified diamond crafting facility of Shree Ramkrishna Exports Pvt. Ltd. (SRK) has secured the 1st position on Arc leaders and performers platform for operational performance in minimizing the environmental impact and committing to sustainability through LEED.
The crafting facility has successfully achieved the score of 95/100 points. The score has been calculated against various parameters as Monthly Average Arc Performance Score. The score is calculated on continuous and real-time basis, and the average of Energy consumption, Water consumption, Waste Management system, Transportation system score, and Human Experience index was calculated, which has totaled to 95 points.
This milestone succeeds the milestone when last month SRK Empire was listed amongst world’s Top 6 green buildings. Since then, the crafting facility was consistently ranked amongst Top 5 green buildings.

Inaugurated in the year 2011 by Ms. Varda Shine (Managing Director of the Diamond Trading Company (DTC) by then), SRK Empire had achieved the LEED Gold in the year 2015 and then got enhanced to Platinum Certification status from US Green Building Council (USGBC) in the year 2018, making it the “First manufacturing facility in India and the Asia region”, and also the First in the “Gems and Jewelry sector across the world” to be awarded the Platinum rating by USGBC.
The state-of-the-art facility situated in Surat, on a daily basis operates with nearly 4000 people, and houses technologically advanced equipment and systems.
