Store Employee Accused of Stealing Jewelry Worth $250,000

Authorities say she admitted to stealing the jewelry.

Police in Arizona say a jewelry-store employee took $250,000 worth of items from the business.

KNXV-TV reports that Emma Pchakjian, who worked for Diamondcraft in Scottsdale, has been arrested.

A weekly arrest report from the Scottsdale Police Department lists her charges as first-degree trafficking in stolen property and “theft-unauthorized service/property-embezzle.”

Authorities say Pchakjian, 35, has admitted in a statement to stealing the jewelry. It disappeared from the store’s inventory over a four-month period.

Most of the jewelry has not been found, though some of it was located at pawn shops, according to KNXV.
